Abstract :
Wastewater recycling is the best solution for the textile industry to reduce water consumption and to stop environmental pollution caused by the Textile wet processes. Recycling technologies are mature enough for solving the textile industry’s effluent problems but high installation and energy costs are the main drawbacks. Lack of environmental protection laws practiced by the governments seems to be another main reason for none-circular water consumpton in the Textile industry which in turn needs enough budjetary sources as the necessary incetives. This work is reviewing the current filtration technologies practiced for wastewater recycling in textile industry and the limitations observed in them are brought into attentions for further research and developments.
