Abstract :
The recent advances in personal electronics have led to a significant Increase In the demand for electrical energy. Textile-based thermoelectric generators (TEGs) are emerging as a promising technology for wearable power generation. TEGs can convert the temperature difference between the human body and the environment into electrical energy, which can be used to power wearable electronic devices. Textile-based TEGs are particularly attractive for wearable applications due to their flexibility, lightness, and air permeability. Textile-based TEGs are still in their early stages of development, but they have a wide range of potential applications, including wearable power generation, self-powered sensors, and Peltier cooling applications. In this mini review study, thermoelectric textile materials will be reviewed and summarized in two groups, yarn-based and fabric-based, through literature analysis.
