Graphene-Based Hybrids: Innovative new generation hybrid production for the Aviation Industry

Abstract :
In recent years, innovations in materials science in the aviation industry have significantly transformed aircraft design and performance. Developing technology and increasing security needs necessitate the use of innovative materials in the aviation industry. In this context, graphene-based hybrid materials stand out with their critical properties such as lightness, durability and energy efficiency. Graphene is a material formed with single atom thick carbon layers and has high strength, flexibility and conductivity properties. Thanks to its exceptional mechanical properties and conductivity, graphene increases the performance of composite materials and enables new generation aviation applications. The effects of graphene-based hybrid materials in aviation, especially in structural applications, electric and hybrid aircraft systems, sensor technologies and energy storage solutions, are being evaluated. In addition, these materials provide advantages in terms of production processes, cost analysis and sustainability. How graphene-based hybrids can revolutionize the aviation sector and their future potential will be important. In this study, we prepared graphene oxide-organic compound hybrids. Spectroscopic and optical properties of the prepared hybrids were examined. The results showed that these hybrids have the potential to be used in the aviation industry.
